Fabric
X-Pac VX-21 — durable, rigid (doesn't flap in the wind), water-resistant fabric. The fabric itself is waterproof, but the bag's closure does not create a watertight seal, so treat the bag overall as water-resistant.
Patent-Pending Closure
The back edge has a rigid bar you bend into place for a custom fit to any bike. The front edge works much like a slap bracelet — the roughly 90-degree angle you create once the bag is bent into place activates the closure.

Really impressed with the design. The closure is so cool (how does it work, it's like magic), and the bag holds more than I expected without getting in the way. Shipping was fast and the product matched the photos.
I've been using my Slap Bag for a few weeks now on both road and gravel rides. It's sturdy, the rigid fabric doesn't bounce around, and makes it much easier to grab what I need without stopping. Very happy with the purchase.
